Position: Programme Manager

Responsibilities will include:

 Planning, Implementation, Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Assist the CEO in development of strategic/annual plans
  • Management of the organizational Programmes portfolio
  • Oversee pre-funding assessment, including partner listing, screening and selection & maintenance of partner database
  • Build motivate and manage the Programme team towards achieving goals and objectives
  • Work with finance team for financial monitoring, budget–expenditure control, reviews, ensuring sound financial management of Programmes
  • Plan and implement internal & mid-term reviews and end term evaluations
  • Assist the CEO in organizing M & E / Exchange visits, for supporters from funding agencies, Corporate-CSRs, Govt. Organizations

Donor Relations

  • Managing Donor relations including correspondence
  • Submission of reports to donors – including preparation and editing of all Reports/Mid-term review/Impact assessment and submissions to donors
  • Liaise with GO/PRI Officers for effective convergence, dovetailing of Programmes and influencing practices
  • Develop and deploy advocacy strategies and guide teams including partners for results

Resourcing

  • Development of new Programmes, conceptualizing, writing project proposals, organizing in-house discussions for submission of proposals as per timelines
  • Identifying funding opportunities including tracking and responding to Calls for proposals as per timelines
  • Work with fund raising officer to:strengthen visibility, develop fund raising strategies, organize events etc.
  • Interact with Corporate – CSRs & Business Associations for developing synergies & collaborations

Communication & Broader Cooperation

  • Develop/Implement Internship & Volunteering policy and oversee Interns and Volunteers engagement with the organization
  • Lead/Engage in Stakeholder experience sharing for mutual learning and visibility including on web portals and online platforms
  • Develop & deploy strategies for stakeholder advocacy – through appropriate research, studies and communication
  • Oversee communication of Programmatic achievements – impacts & best practices to supporters including channels like website, annual reports, and documentaries

Qualifications:MSW, MA Sociology, Degree in Rural development will be an added advantage

Experience: 8-10 years with atleast 5 years in Programme management, Programme development, fund raising, developing strategic plans and budgets.

S/he should have a passion for development work, believe in participatory processes, good knowledge of Computers and office productivity, MIS & communication/presentation tools, willing to travel, self-driven with high motivations levels;flexible to work alone and in teams; willing to work within demanding timelines

Position: Programme Officer

Responsibilities will include:

Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Developing annual Programme plans and budgets in consultation with Programme Manager
  • Oversee implementation of planned activities–through Partner organizations with required monitoring and evaluation, ensuring realization of goals and objectives
  • Work with colleagues, oversee/guide Partner organizations in action research, advocacy and lobbying
  • Liaise with Government Organizations/Panchayat Raj Institutions for effective convergence/dovetailing of Programmes to influence practices
  • Conducting pre-funding assessment, including partner listing, screening, selection and maintenance of partner database
  • Develop monitoring plans, conduct onsite monitoring and submission of assessment reports
  • Preparing pre-evaluation documentation and evaluating the partners/projects
  • Preparation and editing of Reports/Mid-term review/Impact assessment and submissions to donors.
  • Work with Finance Officer for financial monitoring of Programmes

Programme Development

  • Support the Programme Manager in:
    • Conceptualization and development of project proposals for raising funds for DF initiatives
    • Identifying funding opportunities and providing information to support fundraising
    • Supporting donor relations
  • Capacity building of partner organizations including: situational analysis, needs assessment, planning and organizing orientation and training programs, organizing a database of resource persons
  • Supporting the programme team and CEO in organizing M&E/ Exchange visits, for supporters from funding agencies, Corporate-CSRs, Govt Organizations
  • Work with Communication/Fund raising team to develop relevant promotional materials

Broader Cooperation and Networking:

  • Work with the team in developing, identifying and networking with stakeholders for experience sharing, learning on education, livelihoods, collective advocacy and lobbying
  • Guide Interns and Volunteers in achieving mutual goals and objectives

Qualifications: BA Soc, BSW, MSW, Diploma/Degree in Rural development will be an added advantage

Experience: 2-5 years with at least 2 years in project implementation

  • Involved in implementation of Social development programmes
  • Writing project Reports, Concepts and Proposals
  • Developing annual and biannual plans and budgets
  • PRA and participatory methodologies and its application in micro planning and assessment
  • Working and motivating teams towards goals and objectives
  • Overseeing project activities implemented by Partner organizations and staff teams
  • Good knowledge of computers and office productivity applications
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi

S/he should have a passion for development work, believe in participatory processes, willing to travel up to 8 – 10 days/month, self-driven with high motivations levels to work alone and in teams; willing to work to tight deadlines
